Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of fourteen years old. As well as BJJ classes, she also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. Ladd defeated Evinger to the punch in the first round and earned a Bonus Performance of the Night. The first big fight she fought in was in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both the fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters getting an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. In the third round of UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. As a replacement she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
