Ford's albums were not very successful, so she disappeared for several years. In 1988, Ford returned into the spotlight thanks to the album that became a huge hit "Lita". Kiss Me Deadly was her most popular hit, along with the ballads Close My Eyes Forever and Kiss Me Deadly. The success of her music was not lasting, as she disappeared for many years. The 'Black" album was released in 1995, and she followed it with her "Wicked Wonderland" released almost fifteen years after. The album she released in the year 2016 titled 'Time-Capsule. Guitar Player Magazine awarded her the Certified Guitar Legend Award.
