Aura Sanchez Garrido is an actress on Spanish television and film. She's been in films as Stockholm as well as the TV series El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido was born in Madrid in the year 1989. Tomas Garrido, her father, is an orchestra conductor and composer, while Pilar Sanchez paints. The first time she took piano lessons began at age four. She began ballet soon after. It was her best friend who spoke English which taught her to speak the English language. She enrolled in Madrid's Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico when she completed her studies in high school. In her 3rd year she was studying the interpretation of texts and textual interpretation. However, in 2010, she left the program because she had been cast in Planes para manana. This role earned her a Silver Biznaga in the Best Supporting Actress category as well as an award for Goya Awards' best debut actress.
